Innovative Can Handles That Help Sell Craft Beer Featured at Pack Expo East

CHARLOTTE, NC — At Pack Expo East, February 27 – March 1, Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Roberts PolyPro, powered by ProMach showcases innovative, eye-catching can carrying handles for two, four, and six packs of craft beer. Craft brewers can opt to hand apply the handles and later, as sales increase, invest in a Roberts PolyPro handle applicator. Roberts PolyPro is offering the handles at a favorable price, compared to old style handles, thanks to reducing by 30 percent the amount of plastic required to mold them. The handles, that were developed in 2016, are available in any Pantone Matching System (PMS) color. Brewers can choose a vibrant PMS color that most attractively complements the can’s graphic design. These new high density polyethylene (HDPE) handles are 100 percent recyclable. On outings, the handles can be reapplied to cans for convenient carrying home to refrigerators for unopened cans or to recycling bins for empties. The handles allow the cans to be closely stacked for efficient packing.
