New Director of Sales at Roberts PolyPro
May 11, 2010Charlotte, NC - Roberts PolyPro, a division of ProMach, hired George Allen as the firm's director of sales for Packaging and Converting Solutions.
In his new position, Allen is responsible for the promotion and sale of Roberts PolyPro's lines of folder gluers including beverage carrier assembly machines, carton feeding equipment, and specialty converting systems for pop-up paper handles, plastic handles, fitments, and more. He will also be responsible for developing new solutions for improving the productivity and quality of converting operations through the integration of Roberts PolyPro technology with other organizations' equipment.
Allen comes to Roberts PolyPro from Graphic Packaging International, Inc. where, for the last five of his 16-year career with the firm, he was technical machinery sales manager. Prior to joining Graphic Packaging International, Allen had a 10 year sales and marketing career with Kliklok-Woodman.
Allen said he was attracted to the new sales position because of the scope of the job and Roberts PolyPro's reputation for converting equipment that is top of the line in terms of speed, reliability, quality, and support.
