MAS2 Manual Can Handle Applicator - Applying Handles to Multipacks
The Roberts PolyPro MAS2 can carrier applicator is designed to assist the manual application of 4-pack and 6-pack HDPE can carriers to standard format 12 oz. and 16 oz. aluminum beverage cans.
The MAS2 is available in a right or left-hand configurations to optimize placement within existing production line layouts.
Placed at the end of a single file canning line, a cylinder pushes two cans at a time onto a double file can track at a rate of 48 cans per minute. A platform directly adjacent to the can track provides easy access to two trays and a supply of handles which enables operators to efficiently apply carrier handles with minimal wasted movement.
The MAS2 can carrier applicator includes an adjustable operator step platform to accommodate different conveyor elevations and to accommodate operators of varying heights. The adjustable platform ensures that each and every operator has optimal leverage for applying carriers without sacrificing ergonomics.
Change parts are not required and changeovers between 4-packs and 6-packs or 12 oz. and 16 oz. cans are toolless, fast and simple.
